On 11 August 2026, representatives of the Barbados Environmental Sustainability Fund (BESF) visited the CCPRO Train-the-Trainers Workshop to observe the project in action.

As a key funding partner of the Climate Change Project on Rainfall Observation (CCPRO), BESF had the opportunity to observe participants engaging in hands-on training, including the construction and assembly of weather-station components.During the visit, photographs and video footage were captured to document the workshop and showcase the practical activities being undertaken through the project.

The visit also highlighted the progress being made in strengthening the capacity of 4-H leaders, educators and other participants to support the implementation of CCPRO across Barbados.

The Barbados 4-H Foundation values BESF’s continued support and contribution to expanding climate education, environmental awareness and practical learning opportunities for young people across Barbados.
