The Barbados 4-H Foundation provided gardening supplies to the Springer Memorial School Eagles 4-H Club in support of its “Come Grow with Us” Project, helping members continue their hands-on agricultural and gardening activities.

On 20th May 2026, the Foundation donated a variety of items requested by the club, including a sprinkler, 20 packets of seeds, one gallon of blue paint, three large bags of soil mix, two medium-sized half cans, one hanging planter, two seedling trays and seven small square planting cans.

The donation supported the Springer Eagles as they developed their “Come Grow with Us” initiative, providing members with resources to participate in practical gardening activities and strengthen their knowledge of agriculture through the 4-H tradition of learning by doing.

Projects such as this give young people the opportunity to develop practical skills while learning about plant cultivation, responsibility, teamwork and environmental stewardship.

The Barbados 4-H Foundation is pleased to support the efforts of its clubs and remains committed to helping members turn their ideas into meaningful projects that benefit both their personal development and their wider school communities.
