The Barbados 4-H Foundation participated in Agrofest 2026, showcasing the work of its clubs, promoting youth involvement in agriculture and engaging members of the public throughout the event.

During Agrofest, the Foundation operated a dedicated 4-H booth, which served as a central space for visitors to learn more about the organisation, its programmes and opportunities to become involved.

Visitors were also able to explore displays hosted by several 4-H clubs, each showcasing different aspects of their work. Clubs presented hands-on projects, agricultural products, creative displays and activities that demonstrated the variety of skills being developed through the 4-H programme.

Agrofest also provided an opportunity to recognise the achievements of participants in the Grow with 4-H Garden Competition 2025.

Visitors to the 4-H booth were also introduced to 4-H merchandise, including “I Love 4-H” and “Proud Supporter” T-shirts and buttons, helping to promote the organisation and strengthen public awareness of the 4-H movement.

The Barbados 4-H Foundation’s presence at Agrofest provided a valuable platform to showcase the work of its clubs, celebrate members’ achievements and connect with persons interested in becoming part of the 4-H community.
