The Holders Hill Community 4-H Club hosted its community showcase on 29th June 2024 at the St. John Baptist Church, Holders Hill, St. James, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The event provided an opportunity for members of the club and the wider community to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial skills. Throughout the day, visitors were able to purchase a variety of food, drinks and handmade crafts produced by members of the community club.

Proceeds from the showcase were raised in aid of purchasing 4-H uniforms for club members, helping to support their continued participation and representation within the 4-H movement.

A talent show was also scheduled to take place at 3:00 p.m., giving members an additional opportunity to display their talents and entertain those in attendance. Unfortunately, the talent show had to be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Despite the change in programme, the showcase provided a valuable platform for members to work together, display their skills and contribute towards an important goal for their club.

Initiatives such as the Holders Hill Community 4-H Club Showcase highlight the spirit of teamwork, creativity, entrepreneurship and community involvement that remains at the heart of the 4-H experience.
